This year’s theme - Hispanics: Be Proud of Your Past, Embrace the Future - invites Hispanics to embrace their backgrounds , to be proud of who they are and where they came from.

Instructions

  1. Start a GoogleSlides presentation - share with partner (Partner 1)

  2. Start NoodleTools Project - share with partner (Partner 2)

  3. Google your location

  4. Choose a reliable website and evaluate it using the source evaluation checklist. Answer as many questions as you can.

  5. Use NoodleTools to cite your sources

  6. Slide 1 should include: Name of the location, a picture, city and state of location, map and YOUR names

  7. Slide 2 should include: a timeline of the location, with a special focus on it’s role in Hispanic American history

  8. Slide 3 should include: fun facts about the location

  9. Slide 4 should include: citations and evaluation checklist with answers
