Al Jazeera One of the preeminent sources of news in the Middle Eastern realm

The Big Project--Middle Eastern News in English An excellent resources that compiles English language news sources from around the globe. 

Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) The Council on Foreign Relations is an independent, nonpartisan organization dedicated to helping policy-makers, officials and students more informed about the world around. CFR's site is an excellent place to find quality information on a variety of topics, including this broad look at the "Arab Spring at Ten Years."

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) An excellent repository of free publicly accessible academic research. 

International Crisis Group--Popular Protest in North Africa and the Middle East This independent organization produced a series of reports in the various MENA uprisings. See here for: SyriaSyria II, LibyaTunisiaEgypt

Libya Uprising Archive An intense compendium of articles and social media content related to the Libyan Uprising

Middle East Institute (MEI)  Founded in 1946, the MEI is the oldest think-tank in Washington focused solely on studying the Middle East. The site is full of solid content, but of particular note is their "Special Briefing: The Arab Spring a Decade On"  

North Africa & the Middle East 2011-2013 Hosted by the Internet Archive this collection contains 'blogs, social media and news sites about Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Sudan and other countries." The site is a little wonky to use, but seems to have nice real-time content about the events that unfolded in 2011 and beyond. 

Tahrir Documents A primary source collection sponsored by UCLA that documents the 2011 Egyptian Uprising

Tunisian Transition Oral History Project Columbia University collected interviews and oral histories with folks who lived through the Tunisian transition. 

United States Institute of Peace (USIP) Founded by the US Congress, USIP is an independent, nonpartisan devoted to the creation of world without violent conflict. Here are two examples of the work they've produced on the Arab Spring" The Living Legacy of the Arab Uprisings" and "The Arab Uprisings 10 Years Later: In Pursuit of Legitimacy."
